Best American Summer Travel Destinations | Our Top 4 List

Do you want to explore some of the coolest cities in the US? Right now it's peak time, so there are tons of festivals, music concerts, art galleries, boat rentals, kayaking trips - all happening at different times during the day. You can have your pick of where to go or what activity to do every day for a whole month if you wanted. So let me take you on a tour through my favorite spots in America so far this year!

Seattle, Washington

Seattle Washington in the summertime is amazing. The weather is perfect, the locals are friendly and there's so much to do! Check out Pike Place Market for fresh seafood, wander around Green Lake Park or take a boat ride on Lake Union.

Miami Beach, Florida

Miami Beach Florida is already known for its luxury hotels and high-end stores. But in the summer, you can soak up some sun on this famous beach while enjoying views of nature at its finest. The city also hosts one of the world's largest art festivals where visitors can spend an entire weekend browsing works by local artists as well as international stars. If you're looking for a more natural experience, head to the Everglades National Park about an hour away from Miami Beach. This unique park is home to all sorts of wildlife including American crocodiles, manatees, and over 350 species of birds. It's definitely worth taking a scenic boat tour or airboat ride through the swamps to see some of these creatures in action.

Los Angeles, California

Los Angeles California is a city that never sleeps, and in the summertime, it's even more alive. From Hollywood to downtown, there's always something going on day or night. Catch a movie under the stars at one of the many outdoor screenings, go shopping on Rodeo Drive or take a hike up to Griffith Park for some panoramic views of the city. The top places you must visit are Venice Beach Boardwalk, Griffith Observatory, Santa Monica Pier, and Malibu! Not only will you have an amazing experience but so much fun as well. There's never a dull moment in LA.

Dallas, Texas

Dallas Texas is a great place to visit in the summertime. Don't let its reputation for scorching temperatures scare you away; it's actually pretty mild during this time of year, and there are plenty of things to do indoors as well! Here are four of our favorite activities while in Dallas:

Six Flags Over Texas: Home to more than 100 rides, including nine roller coasters, Six Flags is a must for thrill seekers. There's also a water park on site for when the temperature climbs.

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden: With 66 acres of gardens, lakes, and trails to explore, the Dallas Arboretum is a great way to enjoy nature and escape from city life for a few hours.

Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza: Situated in the former Texas School Book Depository building where Lee Harvey Oswald fired his shots that killed President John F. Kennedy, this museum tells visitors all about what happened on that fateful day in 1963.

The Fort Worth Stockyards: Once the largest stockyard in the world, today the Fort Worth Stockyards is home to a variety of shops and restaurants, as well as cattle drives and rodeos. It's a great place to experience America's cowboy heritage.

If you're looking for an exciting summer getaway, consider visiting one of the many US cities on our list. There's never a dull moment in these bustling metropolises! From LA to Dallas, there are countless ways to experience America's rich culture and history this season.
